Software for tree surgeons

Quotes from the site visit with a line for each part of the job, every job from enquiry to paid on one board, and invoices paid by Apple Pay or card when the site's clear.

7 days free with no card needed, then £19.99 a month or £199 a year. No contract. See pricing.

Quote from the site visit, before you're back in the van

Almost every tree job starts with a look: what's to come down, what's to be reduced, how the timber and brash leave the site. By the time you've done three site visits in a day, the details are on the back of a receipt. Knockround keeps every enquiry on a board, from enquiry to quote sent, booked, done and paid.

Build the quote on your phone with each part of the work as its own line (a crown reduction, a fell, stump grinding, removing the arisings), add a deposit if you take one, and send it by WhatsApp, text, email or a link. The customer accepts with a tap. Try it on the jobs board demo.

Keep the checks beside the job

Some tree work can't start the day the customer says yes. Note what's waiting before you give a date, so a quote that's been accepted isn't mistaken for a job that's ready.

Things that can hold up a tree job
CheckWhat to note
Tree Preservation Order or conservation areaWhether the council's consent or notice is needed, who's applying and when it was sent.
Nesting birdsNesting birds are protected by law, so spring and summer work may need checking first.
Access and neighboursGates, parking for the chipper, overhanging branches and who needs telling.
DepositWhether it's been paid before you book the crew.

This is a planning prompt, not a list of the law: check the rules for each job with the council and your own guidance.

Paid when the site's clear

Send the invoice by WhatsApp in one tap, by text or email, or show the QR code on your phone. Your customer pays by Apple Pay, Google Pay or card, it marks itself paid, and Stripe pays it into your bank. Stripe's fee is 1.5% + 20p for a standard UK card and Knockround adds nothing on top. Customers who pay by transfer get your bank details and a payment reference on every invoice. How card payments work.

Regular hedge and garden work too

Hedges that need cutting twice a year and customers who want their trees looked at every year can come back by themselves, at their own interval, alongside the quoted work. See Knockround for garden maintenance and landscaping.
