When Powered Now is the better choice
- You need certificates or custom forms. Powered Now Professional lists electrical certificates and EICRs. Knockround doesn't do certificates.
- You do your VAT returns in the app. Powered Now lists VAT returns and Making Tax Digital. Knockround doesn't do VAT invoicing yet.
- You use Xero or QuickBooks. Powered Now lists both from Professional. Knockround exports CSV.
- You want a mobile card reader. Powered Now offers one. Knockround takes card payments on the customer's own phone instead.
When Knockround is the better choice
- You want one price for everyone. £19.99 a month for the business. Workers cost nothing extra and see the round and customer details, never prices or payments.
- The same customers come back. Each customer returns at their own interval, from weekly to once a year, with a confirm-or-skip message the night before from your own number.
- You want paying with no reader to carry. Every invoice has a Pay button for Apple Pay, Google Pay or card, by link or a QR code on your phone, and Knockround adds nothing to Stripe's fee. How it works.
- You run a round. Price rises by % or £ for everyone or one area, bank transfers matched from your statement, and what the round is worth a year.
