The short answer
DueMate is a round app built by a window cleaner, from £9.99 a month for the planner, with bulk SMS reminders and GoCardless Direct Debit from £24.99. Knockround is £19.99 a month for everything, with card and Apple Pay on every invoice and a jobs board for quoted work beside the round. If your round runs on Direct Debit and bulk texts, DueMate Standard does that. If you want customers paying by card on the doorstep, quoted jobs as well as repeat work, or more than one trade, try Knockround.
Knockround is our app, so read this knowing that. DueMate's details come from its own website, checked on 29 October 2026.

When DueMate is the better choice
- You only need the planner. DueMate Entry is £9.99 a month for the planner, client list, route optimisation, invoices and quotes, without texts or Direct Debit.
- Your round pays by Direct Debit. DueMate Standard connects GoCardless and collects when a job is marked done. Knockround doesn't do Direct Debit yet.
- You want texts sent in bulk. DueMate sends the night-before texts to the whole day at once, and a NO reply takes the job off the list. Knockround opens each message in your own WhatsApp or texts, one tap each.
- You need VAT on invoices. DueMate lists VAT handling. Knockround doesn't do VAT invoicing yet.
- You want longer to try it. DueMate's trial is 14 days; Knockround's is 7.
When Knockround is the better choice
- Customers pay by card or Apple Pay. Every invoice has a Pay button, by WhatsApp link or a QR code on your phone at the door, and the money goes to your own Stripe account. Stripe's fee is 1.5% + 20p for a standard UK card and Knockround adds nothing on top. How it works.
- You do quoted jobs as well as the round. One-off work, like a conservatory roof or a gutter clear, moves across a board from enquiry to quote sent, booked, done and paid, next to your regular customers.
- Your customers are on WhatsApp. Reminders, invoices and quotes open in your own WhatsApp, written for you, and customers can reply "See you then" or "Skip this time".
- You want one price with workers. £19.99 a month for the business. Workers cost nothing extra and see the round and customer details, never prices or payments.
- You're not a window cleaner. Knockround covers 39 trades, from gardeners and cleaners to plumbers and roofers. See every trade.
