Every dog back when it's due
Most grooming customers come back at their own pace: a doodle every 6 weeks, a terrier every 8, a short coat a few times a year. Set each customer's interval, from weekly to once a year, and they appear on the calendar and the day's list when they're due. The night before, each customer due can get a message from your own number with a link to reply "See you then" or "Skip this time", and a skip shows on your list.

Paid at collection
When the owner arrives, show the QR code on your phone or send the invoice by WhatsApp in one tap. They pay by Apple Pay, Google Pay or card, it marks itself paid, and Stripe pays it into your bank. Stripe's fee is 1.5% + 20p for a standard UK card and Knockround adds nothing on top. Owners who'd rather pay by transfer get your bank details and a payment reference on every invoice.
